To celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of the American Bootes Astronomical Society (ABAS) and the 250th Anniversary of the United States, we will host three free Sidewalk Astronomy Events in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia in June 2026. Families, students, and community members throughout the DMV area are warmly invited to join us for an evening of telescope observing and astronomy outreach.
