Join us at The Clarksburg Yard on Thursday, August 20th during our weekly farmers market for a fun and encouraging community art project to celebrate the start of the school year!
We’ll be decorating the 355 bike path in front of the Yard with colorful chalk art and uplifting messages for our Clarksburg High School and Rocky Hill Middle School students to enjoy as they walk to and from school.
Arrive anytime within the timeframe of 5:30PM–7:00 PM - just make sure you have enough time to let your create self shine! All ages are welcome! So bring your creativity and school spirit!
Students can earn SSL hours for participating - we will have Montgomery County forms available, but if you are from outside the MCPS school district, just bring your applicable form and we would be happy to fill it out!. Chalk will be provided.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
