The PATESI Foundation is seeking passionate, high energy, and community-minded high school students to become Youth Ambassadors for an exciting new initiative launching this August.
Youth Ambassadors will lead an effort to promote dignity, compassion, and service. Ambassadors will work alongside other student leaders while building leadership skills.
Participants can expect opportunities to:
- Organize awareness activities and community service projects in a fun way.
- Inspire peers to become advocates for dignity, compassion, and community service.
- Collaborate with the PATESI Foundation staff throughout the initiative.
- Create fun and impactful projects.
- Earn SSL hours and leadership experience.
- Connect with other student leaders around Montgomery County.
- Receive recognition for outstanding leadership and community impact.
The initiative officially begins in August, with ambassadors preparing for several weeks of leadership, outreach, and service. The program ends on September 11, honoring the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, through a community-wide act of service that demonstrates the power of young people working together to make a difference.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
