Calling all gamers and bakers! Join us to provide food and fun to youth staying in a group home. Your family will prepare and serve continental brunch and host a board game party at the Phillip Reid House.
Sasha Bruce is an organization that focuses on assisting displaced youth in DC and PG County. While providing them safe and consistent housing they also help with job placement, health, and education opportunities. Your work at this project brings the comfort of a home-cooked meal and connection to our younger neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
