Looking for a small gardening group or a few interested individuals who have at least some gardening experience to help us maintain our pollinator garden. This 6 x 35 ft garden is adjacent to our food production garden in Potomac and the native plants there are essential to providing habitat for the birds, bees and bugs that pollinate our vegetable plants. Responsibilities include, weeding, staking, mulching and, in the fall, helping to divide and relocate plants.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
