Court Appointed Special Advocate

Do you have 10-15 hours per month available to make a difference in the life of an abused and/or neglected child? If so, consider becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Maintain up-to-date information about the case. Visit with the child and maintain contact with all professionals involved. Prepare reports for the court regarding the status of the case and recommendations for what is in the child's best interest. Appear in court as necessary, usually twice a year.
