Description

Project Linus is a non-profit organization dedicated to donating handmade blankets (made by “blanketeers”) for newborn to 18-year-old children in need of comfort. Blanketeers can knit or crochet, quilt, or sew blankets. There are many chapters in every state. The Montgomery County chapter accepts blankets from individuals or groups. We bring them to local family shelters, Montgomery County’s Child Welfare Services Program, and other local organizations serving traumatized children.

The chapter is participating in Montgomery County Community Service Week – please join us to make blankets! We will have yarn, quilting and fleece material, and knitting accessories for blanketeers to use.
