We are excited to bring our Youth Symposium to Francis Scott Key Middle School (910 Schindler Drive, Silver Spring, MD) to provide a learning experience and an opportunity for students to earn SSL hours for their participation in a mental health related service project and advocacy.
Our program will consist of the following sessions:
- Healthy Living: Kids in the Kitchen: Making Healthy Snack s) - Age 6-11
- Healthy Choices: Real Dollar$ make real sense: Teaching financial awareness) - Age 12-17
- Craft/service project
- Free lunch!
- Phrotect your Mind! mental health session
- Healthy Generations: Town Hall: "We the people vs. the government"
- Closure and advocacy
