Join us at our new office location! Volunteers will help Only Make Believe decorate costumes that are utilized during performances for children at hospitals and care facilities in the DC Metro Region. Only Make Believe provides a variety of arts and craft supplies. Volunteers are asked to use their creativity to make costumes that will speak to a child's imagination.
You do not need sewing skills to participate. Volunteers must sign up for a reserved seat by confirming with the Volunteer Manager, Chris Wilson (cwilson@onlymakebelieve.org). We ask that they stay for the entirety of the event (2 hours). Please wear clothing that you would not mind getting marker or glue on. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
We also welcome craft donations! Markers, Colored Pencils, Small Fabric Swatches, Stickers, Yarn, Buttons...are all great options! Please no glitter or pipe-cleaners.
