YMCA Silver Spring Child Care Center needs a new playground!
We sincerely need your support. Please help by signing up to volunteer.
We are also asking for volunteers to help through recruiting families, friends, neighbors and co-workers that could help us with this project. We are hoping to get about 40 (or more) volunteers from parents, neighbors, friends and families by Monday, September 17th . Please help the YMCA Silver Spring Child Care Center get a new playground built and operational.
Volunteer Age Chart:
We are recruiting volunteers between the ages of 15 & Up to assist with food, sports, art and nature activities
- (Ages 15) Assist with arts and sports activities for children.
- (Ages 16 -17) Assist with side projects (painting and moving small objects)
- (Ages 18+) Assist with demo and build days (physical labor)
Preparation Dates:
Thursday, September 20, 2018
- Day 1 - 30 - 40 volunteers
Friday, September 21, 2018
- Day 2 - 15 volunteers
Build Day:
Saturday, September 22, 2018
- Day 3 - 75 volunteers
