UPDATE: THE FORECAST FOR TOMORROW (SATURDAY) IS RAIN BUT WE STILL PLAN TO DO THE CLEAN UP. IF YOU DECIDE TO COME OUT PLEASE BE HERE BY 11:30 AM AND COME DRESSED FOR WALKING IN THE WOODS IN THE RAIN--PLEASE HAVE WATERPROOF SHOES/BOOTS AND A RAINCOAT. IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE, WE WILL UNDERSTAND AND MAYBE YOU CAN JOIN US FOR ANOTHER PROJECT!
On Saturday, October 27, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm we will hike into Wildcat Forest and clean up trash and debris. There are multiple entry point, but the main entry into the forest will be from 22600 Robin Ct, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a pair of gloves to wear for picking up trash.
Together we can make this local forest a clean place for the animals who inhabit it and the people who enjoy it.
