We are seeking workshop presenters for various workshop topics focused on and related to strong volunteer management and other volunteer topics. This is our 4th Annual Volunteer Leadership Summit and gathers over 100 of our most active volunteers, who serve in and are residents of our affordable housing communities. We hope these workshops will build skills and increase our volunteers' ability to be even more effective in their volunteer service.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE? Be a volunteer for the day
- Workshop Facilitators provide expertise on basic to intermediate skills, creating an interactive 60 minute workshop , provide tangible ideas on the topic and leave participants with concrete tools, tips, and materials to use in their communities. While we welcome workshop topic ideas, those focused on volunteer engagement, volunteer management, and specific volunteer attributes (leadership development, team building, etc.) are highly desired.
WHO WILL ATTEND? CPDC Community Volunteerswith 30 or more service hours in the last 12 months from 15 different CPDC sites are invited to attend this annual event.
WHAT WILL TAKE PLACE? The CPDC Volunteer Leadership Summit offers volunteer focused activities, motivational speakers, and over 15 different skill building workshops to inspire, engage, and enhance this cohort’s volunteer experience. Breakfast & lunch provided.

WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN? Saturday, September 28th, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Workshop times vary and we can work with your schedule to set up your specific workshop time, though you are more than welcome to attend the entire conference!
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Investing in the capacity of our volunteers to do more, recognizes their value and importance in the community, allows them to develop their own skills, and ensures we have well trained and experienced volunteers in our communities.
