Description

The training will review general safety principles based on the NIOSH Safety Curriculum and then progress to developing an Activity Hazard Analysis for a community service event (i.e. Wreaths Across America, etc.).

As new workers/adolescents enter the workforce and complete community service activities, they will likely be inexperienced and unfamiliar with many of the tasks required of them.  In fact, teens are twice as likely to be injured at work than adults.  This occupational health and safety training works to prevent injury among teens by providing life skills they will need now and in the future.
