Join hosts MedStar Montgomery Medical Center & the Greater Olney Interfaith Clergy Association at their Olney-based satellite site for Montgomery County's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.
Participate in onsite service projects benefiting Olney Help, Olney Home for Life, Project Linus of Montgomery County and Success in Style.
Projects include:
- American Red Cross blood drive (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Register in advance here.)
- Blanket making – no-sew and knitted blankets
- Cheer cards for homebound seniors
- Clothing, books and nonperishable food drive
- Health education with MedStar health professionals
- Dry soup kit assembly
After you register, you will receive an email from the Volunteer Center thanking you for your registration and indicated there may be further steps to complete your registration. There are no further steps for this registration. We will expect to see you at the event on January 21st!
