Join us in helping make Rockville Community Nursery School's 40th annual Yellow Balloon Fair another big success!
Where: 100 Welsh Park Drive in Rockville, MD
When: The fair runs 11-3pm on Saturday, May 18th, rain or shine. Set-up activities will begin at 8 am. Clean-up will follow the fair and will run until complete. Volunteers are requested for a minimum of two hours but can stay as long as they like. An RCNS Volunteer Coordinator will reach out after sign-up to schedule your preferred shift(s).
Who: 13 and up only, please
Volunteer duties: helping out with fair events, crafts, food, and games centers -- this should be fun work!

RCNS's Yellow Balloon Fair 2019
Family-friendly fun in a beautiful setting!
Now in its 40th year, our Yellow Balloon Fair is Rockville’s premier fair for preschoolers, and fun for the whole family. The fair features pony rides, little-kid-friendly games, a bake sale, a used book sale, a moon bounce and much, much more. Come rain or shine!
Admission, pony watching, swinging on our swings, playing on the playground and generally hanging out with us are free! For food, tickets [for games, pony rides, and the moon bounce], books and the bake sale you will need cash. The auction (see below) prefers cash or checks, but can also happily accept PayPal or credit cards.
Silent Auction
In conjunction with our fair, we offer a wonderful Silent Auction. Businesses and families from throughout our community donate fantastic items to bid on, and all funds raised from the auction go toward much-needed items for our school.
