We have a few more spots that have opened up!
Come have fun at Winterfest on Saturday, February 9th (snow date Feb 23rd) while earning SSL hours. Volunteers work with preschoolers on crafts, carnival games, and other fun stations. We are looking for high school and middle school folks to help at the event by working one shift or all day.
Special Instructions: Choose one shift (2 hours) or stay all day (4 hours) by clicking on the Sign Up Genius link below. Please use the "notes" section to list the names of your friends who are also volunteering at this event. We will do our best to station you with your friends but we can't promise anything as we need your help in many areas.
Where to go the day of the event: Learning Center For Young Children at Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church, 10123 Connecticut Ave, Kensington, MD 20895. On the day of the event students should report to the church Social Hall. hat is where the sign-in person will be posted to direct the student to his or her station. If there is snow on the day of the event please check your email to see if the event is canceled.
There will be a food vendor if students would like to buy lunch. There will also be homemade baked goods for sale.
