This is a fun, motivational and exciting event for scholarship awardees, their families and donors.
The Bernie Scholarship Awards Program provides about 65 college and training program scholarship award funds annually to very low-income graduating high school students and other adults who live in subsidized housing in Montgomery County, MD.
We are seeking both adult and SSL student helpers to help with the following:
~ set-up for the event, including the dinner dishes, dining tables, A/V
~ food serving and replenishing as needed
~ clean-up, packaging extra food items for awardees to take home, clearing, moving and wiping tables, etc.
