Description

Eta Theta Sigma Alumnae Chapter is hosting the 22nd Annual Youth Symposium on March 9, 2019 at Francis Scott Key Middle School in Silver Spring, MD. This year’s theme is “Mission Possible: A Safe Place for Our Youth” and the program is formatted to reach youth 6 to 17 years old. The goal of this year’s symposium is to support and engage young people, adults, organizations and community in developing skills to make healthy choices, solve community problems and enhance their civic participation.

We know that investing in youth leadership not only ensures that the future generation is equipped with competencies necessary for strong leadership, but enhances young people’s understanding of how to be accountable and inspiring leaders.

This 4 hour learning experience includes a service project and an advocacy component.
