In honor of Earth Day, the Department is hosting and partnering with community organizations to carry out a number of Community Cleanups. Join us at the Townes of Gloucester Community cleanup on Earthday, April 22nd! Learn about where litter or overflowing trash/recyclables end up at.
Volunteers help with:
- picking up trash and sorting by type of trash
- weighing the types of trash and
- recording weights by type of trash on a data sheet
Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided for all cleanups.
Closed toe shoes required for the cleanups.
