Hello Volunteers,
The Galway Lions PTA is seeking volunteers for the June 2019 General Meeting and the End of Year Potluck on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The event will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm. We are asking volunteers to work at least 2 hours.
The tasks that will likely be performed:
- Labeling Foods with main ingredients for allergies and diet restrictions
- Admitting, directing and ushering families
- Clean up - sweeping, placing trash in dumpster, etc.
- Set up e.g. place tablecloths, placing chairs, etc.
- Serving food
- Setup and monitor music playlist- We are looking for a high school deejay to develop playlist
- Other duties as needed
This is a great opportunity for students seeking SSL credit hours especially high school students in restaurant management and culinary arts programs. Additionally, volunteers seeking child-focused and multi-cultural/multi-language experiences might benefit.
There is a limit to the number of volunteers that we are accepting.
