Come join us for a playful yard sale!
Volunteers are expected to help set up, invite attendees to play, and help with clean- up. They should be able to be present from 7.30am to noon (cleaning up may take lesser time, volunteers can head back home as soon as that is done).
Volunteers should bring two printed forms to the play event- the SSL form and a Let’s Play America form (signed by a parent). See the LPA form below.
Volunteers should email Pat Rumbaugh, The Play Lady, theplaylady@gmail.com their name, age, confirm they can stay the entire time. If they have a LPA T-shirt that they will wear it and if they don’t have one share their t-shirt size.
Before each event the Play Day Pledge will be read out loud by the volunteers, see the pledge below.
Play Day Pledge
Whether I am an attendee, volunteer or an organizer of this play day I promise to be cheerful, kind, and respectful to everyone. I pledge to encourage and invite everyone to play that I come in contact with at this play event. I know I need to play just as everyone else needs to play, so let’s celebrate, laugh, get to know each other through the gift of play.
For more information about play events volunteers should visit LPA’s website www.letsplayamerica.org.
