Strathmore Music Center Volunteer Orientations

Expired

Description

Strathmore volunteers are an integral part of the Strathmore experience for all visitors. Whether working in the public eye, or as part of the administration, volunteers provide an invaluable service to Strathmore and its patrons.

Volunteers serve in various capacities in the Mansion at Strathmore, the Music Center at Strathmore as well as at Strathmore's outreach events.

We are currently seeking volunteers to serve as Music Center Concert Hall ushers and docents. We will meet in the Discovery Channel Grand Foyer, directly in front of the ticket office, and the orientation will include a tour of the Concert Hall from an ADA (American Disabilities Act) and Usher's perspective.

You must attend only one session, but must attend the entire session, in order to be considered for an ushering position.

If you are interested in additional daytime volunteering opportunities at Strathmore, we can meet to discuss and schedule interviews for these positions during the orientation sessions as well (i.e. front desk docent etc.)
