Join hosts MedStar Montgomery Medical Center & the Shaare Tefila Social Action Committee at their Olney-based satellite site for Montgomery County's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.
Participate in onsite service projects benefiting Nourish Now, The Children's Inn at NIH, Project Linus of Montgomery County and Success in Style.
Projects include
- Blanket making – no-sew and knitted blankets
- Placemats for families at the Children's Inn at NIH
- Clothing and nonperishable food drive
- Health education with MedStar health professionals
- Dry soup kit assembly
After you register, you will receive an email from the Volunteer Center thanking you for your registration and indicating there may be further steps to complete your registration. There are no further steps for this registration.
