Join the Eta Theta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, for their annual Youth Symposium on Saturday, March 14, located at Francis Scott Key Middle School from 9:00am-2:30pm.
The symposium is FREE and open to all youth between the ages of 6-18. Middle and high school students will earn 5.5 SSL hours for participation and advocacy.
This year's theme is "Elevating our Youth: Civically, Socially, and Physically". The Youth Symposium is designed to be informative, relevant, and FUN, including our featured guest speaker, Michael Platt, owner and creator of Michaels Desserts, and sessions on Creative Painting, Spoken Word, Step, Youth Voting, and Self Defense. Students will learn about the Future Vote program led by the Montgomery County Board of Elections.
