BlackRock Center for the Arts is seeking volunteers to assist the staff in performing outdoor clean-up work on Saturday, June 13. Volunteers can work in their choice of two shifts – 11 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 3 pm. The outdoor clean-up work will include activities such as installing mulch, turning soil, trimming plants, and pulling weeds.
In compliance with safe social distancing practices, volunteers will need to work with their own mask. Volunteers will also need to bring their own gardening tools such as clippers, hedge trimmers, shovels, and rakes.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
