We are distributing 800 boxes of food to families at a location in Gaithersburg on Wednesday June 17 and we need a few strong hands and backs to help with setup! 2 or 3 people to unload boxes, break down pallets and help assemble boxes. Hours will be from 8 to noon, but the heavy work will be from 8:30 to 10:30.
The work will be outside in the shade. Volunteers should bring face mask and gloves if possible. They will be working along with other partner agency volunteers and all safety protocols will be in place.
Volunteers should be able to lift 25 pounds, bend and lift and move boxes of food.
