Linkages to Learning Seeks Donation of Gift Cards for Holiday Gifts for Teens
Linkages to Learning (LTL), a community school partnership between the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and non-profit service providers, is seeking gift cards to be given as holiday gifts to local teens in need. With an integrated focus on health, social services, community engagement and leadership, LTL supports student learning, strong families and healthy communities by providing social, mental health and other community school services in 29 MCPS elementary and middle schools with high rates of poverty. LTL is seeking gift cards from local vendors such as Target, Walmart and local restaurants.
To purchase online, go to https://www.target.com/giftcards and select the gift card type and design you would like to purchase. Then, select the amount and delivery method. If you select to email, enter linkagestolearning@montgomerycountymd.gov; or you can select to mail it to the LTL Central Office address below After submitting these details, you select “add to cart” and continue to add your form of payment, billing address, etc. You can also purchase cards from Walmart by following similar steps at https://www.walmart.com/cp/Gift-Cards/96894.
LTL’s goal is to collect 500 gift cards for teens. Cards (or donations towards the purchase of cards) can be made out and mailed to Linkages to Learning, 1401 Rockville Pike Suite 310, Rockville, MD 20852.
