Seeking volunteers to be a part of a car parade to honor Veterans at our community. Cars should be decorated in patriotic colors using different materials such as paint, balloons, signs or any other materials with red white and/or blue colors.
To be awarded SSL hours, your vehicle must be fully decorated using more than 3 types of materials. An additional 1 SSL hour will be awarded if a creative hand made sign is included.
All others will be awarded 1 SSL hours for participating so long as your car is decorated and/or if you have a creative sign.
Please note *All SSL forms will be signed right after the parade.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home until schools resume normal status.
