Volunteers needed to help with drive through food/toy drive. No contact and safe COVID precautions.
We need a volunteer to pick up toys from Toys for Tots warehouse in Gaithersburg to bring to the church where we are doing distribution some time before our 12/22 distribution date - details are still forming but it looks like that will be 12/19. Ideal would be someone with a van with cargo space, the bags of toys take up a lot of space!
Then we need 3 volunteers per shift on 12/22 to help distribute the toys and food. Volunteers will bring the food and toys from the church to the cars of families as they come to pick up. We will be using COVID safe precautions and families coming for toys will remain in cars.
We are part of Montgomery County's Holiday Giving Project and are distributing donated food and toys to families in need in Montgomery County. The families being served were referred into the county-wide program and are notified in advance.

DISTRIBUTION SHIFT 2 - 12/22 - 12:00 NOON TO 2:00 PM
