Our Build Hope From Home campaign allows you to build virtually alongside our staff from the safety of your own home. Because of the pandemic, Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland has adapted some of our volunteer opportunities to virtual which allows us to still help our community, but from the safety of our homes. Our spring’s virtual Build Days will feature an Adirondack chair that you can assemble virtually alongside our Home Repairs Manager. He will give you tips and tricks for assembly while we also discuss Habitat’s mission and current projects.
You can go to our website to order your chair or use the link below. Your Adirondack chair kit will arrive at your front door. We have 2 virtual Community Build Dates to chose from, Saturday, Feb. 20th at 10am and Saturday, March 20th at 10am. Partial proceeds from the sale of your Adirondack chair will go to help fund our affordable housing mission. Your contribution helps lower income families, veteran and seniors who wish to age in place. Thank you!
