Celebrate Earth Month and help keep Rockville streams free of trash by joining the stream cleanup at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center. Space is limited and online registration is required. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. You may be contacted with a volunteer survey following this event.
Steps to Register
1. Respond to this opportunity via Montgomery County Volunteer Center.
2. Sign and email the attached waiver form to greenvolunteer@rockvillemd.gov.
Special COVID-19 Guidelines:
- Volunteers must supply and wear a face covering and practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet from others. Face coverings may be removed while working outdoors and maintaining physical distancing of at least 6 feet from others.
- Volunteer must avoid sharing supplies
- Registered volunteers must sign and email the attached waiver form to greenvolunteer@rockvillemd.gov prior to the event.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
