SSL Hours Guidelines

The 2020-2021 Keeping It Safe (KIS) Coalition Video Contest is now open! This contest invites public and private Middle School and High School student teams to create a 30-second PSA from one of the following topics:

  • How social media influences teens about underage drinking

  • To drink vs. not to drink. What are the effects of alcohol and who influences you?

  • How the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to under 21 alcohol use

Student teams who submit a quality video entry to the contest will earn 5 SSL hours. Student teams will be awarded SSL hours in May of 2021 if their submission meets all the contest requirements.

While making a video with other people, please follow Montgomery County Social Distancing Guidelines. Wear a mask, inside or outside if 6 feet of social distancing is not possible.
