MCPS Waymaking Special on Mental Health in Communities of Faith

MCPS is hosting a free virtual event on May 19, 2021, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., to give students and their families the opportunity to hear from members of the faith-based community on the impact of mental health. The event will feature watching a video discussing mental health stigma in communities of faith and a community Q&A session.
All MCPS middle and high school students are welcome to attend!
MCPS students can earn 2 SSL hours by attending the virtual livestream event and submitting thoughtful responses regarding advocacy action and spreading awareness about this important topic through a Google form after the event.
Please do not respond to this opportunity -- any MCPS student may participate and earn SSL hours for this opportunity by following the directions below.
Directions for MCPS students:
- Information for accessing the Google form will be provided at the conclusion of the livestream event.

After the event, submit thoughtful responses to the SSL Google form provided at the conclusion of the event. To be eligible for SSL hours, all responses must be submitted by 5 p.m. on May 20, 2021.
