Celebrate Juneteenth and help keep Rockville litter-free by joining the cleanup at Mount Calvary Cemetery and the Lincoln Park community. We will focus on cleaning up litter as well as weeding in the cemetery. Volunteers should meet City staff at the parking lot of Lincoln Park Community Center at 357 Frederick Ave. Volunteers will then be directed to an area to cleanup.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Gloves, trash bags and trash grabbers will be provided. Wear sturdy closed toed shoes, dress for the weather and bring plenty of water. Sunblock and bug spray are recommended. Volunteers agree to supply and wear a face covering and practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet from others.
Please only respond to this opportunity if you plan to attend the event. Space is limited and online registration and waiver submission is required. Closer to the event, you will receive a link in your email to electronically sign the waiver.
