We are looking for some amazing volunteers to help us on the day of our Autism Speaks 5k with various duties from keeping refreshments full to assiting runners throughout our site.
Safety is our top priority and you can read more about some of our safety measures below:
Facial Coverings: All staff and volunteers will be required to wear a facial covering when they are in a situation or expect to be a situation where they cannot be 6’ away from everyone else.
Bathrooms: Use porta-potties spaced 6’ apart instead of indoor bathrooms. A bottle of hand sanitizer will be placed with each porta-potties
Aid Stations on course: All fluids on course will be changed from cups to individual bottles, so volunteers will be responsible with filling refreshments and snacks from the back of the table and pushing them forward to minimize contact with runners.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
