Do you follow Instagram, TikTok, SnapChat, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, WhatsApp, or any combination of the above? Are you willing to post content on behalf of a unique haunted house created for children aged 5 to 12 years old? Can you put your own twist on photos, videos, and information provided by the Mystery Mansion team? We are looking for a few dedicated volunteers who can post on the WCCC media sites regularly for six to eight weeks, under supervision, but using some creativity and initiative to make this a fun public precence for a unique event.
We will meet in person to review the schedule, goals, materials, and expectations. You can then post at regular intervals and check in for new content and feedback. Bring any devices or tools at your disposal and be prepared to create a finished product at the initial meeting! ** If you are unable to make this initial meeting but are interested in this role, please EMAIL the coordinator and we can work out an alternate time. Committment is flexible once initial meeting is concluded.
All activities will comply with current CDC, Montgomery County and MCPS requirements to respond to the spread of COVID-19. Indoor events will take place in our auditorium or large meeting room, with social distancing possible and ample air circulation at all times. Masks will be required. Do not attend an activity if you have any signs of illness or any confirmed recent exposure to COVID-19. Hand washing and hand sanitizer will be readily available.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
