Background:
Covid has disproportionately affected certain communities within Montgomery County. At the same time, these areas where Covid rates are the highest are where vaccination rates are the lowest. Barriers include accessibility, technology, hesitancy, limited English proficiency, isolation, and disinformation or conflicting messaging. That's why in-person outreach in underserved communities is still needed to inform residents and assist them with getting the vaccine. We need to get the ENTIRE County vaccinated!
To Volunteer Note: We currently are not recruiting new Community Ambassadors.
Click on the blue "Respond" button in the upper-right hand area. If the "Respond" button is not there, that means that all slots for this event have been filled. Expect an auto-generated email reply to confirm your participation. You will receive an email with details two days before the event. We will continue to update this list of outreach events, so please check back regularly. We will also be in touch about upcoming opportunities to help spread the word!
