Join us to assemble meal kits for Haiti.
We need volunteers to help assemble 10,000 food kits. This will help people in Haiti that are in desperate need of food, after recent catastrophic events. We will create assembly lines, and coordinate the efforts of 40-50 volunteers to accomplish the task.
Students may earn SSL hours, and adults who want to serve are welcome to help accomplish this task.
Please note: Safety and health precautions will be in place and required. All volunteers will be required to wear masks. We will provide sanitizers, and provide stations in the building that allow safe distancing (assembly lines at tables) where small groups of people will assemble, process, prepare, box and load items for shipping.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
