Volunteers will help organization members to set up booths for an indoor yard sale. This sale benefits our group and the community. This sale is in a new location compared to prior MCPOM sales.
LOCATION: This event is held at Seneca Creek Community Church in Gaithersburg
***This is an INDOOR, In-Person event***
Tasks will include:
-Handing out bags to shoppers
-Helping in the area where large items such as car seats and bouncers are sold
-Collecting large shopping bags as shoppers exit
-Helping shoppers carry purchases to the curb
-Helping to move items that will be donated to a local charity from the sale space to the donation area
Shifts: 8am-11am, 12-3pm
***Please note that food will not be provided. You may bring snacks/drinks with you but there will be no access to refrigerator or microwave. You will need to eat/drink outside due to facility rules.
***COVID 19 Protocols: Masks are REQUIRED during this event per Montgomery County regulations for spaces open to the public

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
