Though we have already experienced and usual, heart wrenching previous year, let's start this holiday with good food and friends. During the pandemic, a lot of individuals impacted by disability were not able to access a decent hot meal. Nor were they able to socialize. Therefore, this year L.I.F.E. Inc would like to assist in enhancing the lives of individuals impacted by disabilities, by offering a minor solution to this issue. We are aiming to host a intimate, formal Thanksgiving lunch (in person), and for those who have a hard time with travel we will like to offer the delivery of a delicious, cost-effective Thanksgiving meal.
Students may earn SSL hours for assisting with the in-person luncheon, but students may not earn SSL hours for delivering meals.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
