Local nonprofit Let’s Play America (www.letsplayamerica.org) is seeking fun loving and enthusiastic volunteers for our 12th Annual Mid-Winter Play Day in Takoma Park, MD. This free community event will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Takoma Park Community Center. Volunteers will set up activities indoors and outdoors, facilitate and participate in play with participants of all ages, and clean up at the end. All volunteers and participants will be required to wear face masks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The event will run from 1pm-4pm and volunteers will be called at noon and released by 5pm for a total of 5 hours. SSL forms will be provided for Montgomery County students. Play Days are one of the most fun ways to earn SSL hours. Check out what prior volunteers have had to say about volunteering with us.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
