Open Door Sports, a local nonprofit, is looking for middle and/or high school aged Peer Buddies will be partnered with a player and are asked to be a positive and encouraging friend to the student as they learn the game of soccer. The program will run every Tuesday, beginning September 5th through October 17th from 3:30 - 4:30pm. SSL hours will be given for time spent volunteering. No sports experience is needed.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
