Join the Gaithersburg Parks, Arts, and Recreation Corporation (G-PARC) for a family-friendly outdoor trail mapping of Gaithersburg parks!
April 24, Noon to 2 p.m., Victory Farm Park and Kelley Park
- Clean-up of the parks: volunteers will pick up trash along the trails of Victory Farm and Kelley Parks. Trash bags, pick-up sticks and gloves will be provided.
- Trail Mapping: volunteers will map the trails in and between Victory Farm Park and Kelley Park. Volunteers will need a cell phone and walking shoes.
Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at Forest Oak Middle School (651 Saybrooke Oaks Blvd., Gaithersburg) in the main parking lot. SSL hours available. Water/light snacks will be provided. Register by sending your name and number of people (and ages if under 18) attending to gparc@gaithersburgmd.gov.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
