Come taste the world at the first annual Crossroads Community Food Fair!
Join us on Sunday, May 22, 2022, for a day of delicious hyper-local food and community fun as the talented foodpreneurs of the TPSS Community Kitchen pop up along Laurel Avenue. Enjoy an incredible variety of sweet and savory foods and drinks from 15+ food businesses based in Takoma Park, including tacos, pupusas, pizza, empanadas, superfood bowls and salads, waffles, cold-pressed juices, baked goods, artisanal chocolate and cotton candy, and healthy snacks.

We need volunteers to help make this event a success!
Volunteers will help with event setup (tables, tents, chairs, vendor support, putting up signs), breakdown, welcoming attendees, and various tasks throughout the day. There are 4 two hour time slots for volunteers throughout the day, with a maximum of 2 volunteers per time slot. NOTE: Volunteers will be outside for the entirety of their time and should plan to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that they can move around in easily. There will be snacks and water available for volunteers as well as a plethora of food items to choose from to purchase at the event!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
