Rockville celebrates Pride Month in June. This year, the City of Rockville is seeking for volunteers to assist during the celebration in Rockville Town Square Park from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Volunteers need to be 16 years and older. SSL Hours available. We have different activities and times. Duties will be assigned by the event coordinator and communicated to the volunteers via email.
The volunteer opportunities are:
- Set up: Assist with event decorations, signs, tables/chairs and booth information
Time: 11 am - 1 pm (two hour shifts only)
- Assist with performers and event MC backstage, assist event coordinator, work at an information booth
Time: 2 - 4 pm (two hour shifts available)
- Assist with craft tables
Time: 2 - 4 pm (one or two hour shifts available)
- Assist with removal of decorations, signs, tables/chairs and booth information. Trash clean up.
Time: 4 - 6 pm (two hour shifts only)

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
