Citizens Climate Lobby will be marching in the Wheaton Arts Parade and hosting an exhibit booth at the festival. Help us create items for this event!
We will meet at Caroline Freeland Park, 7200 Arlington Road, Bethesda, across Hampden Road from the Connie Morella (Bethesda) library. Look for the volunteers in CCL t-shirts and our sign.
Volunteers will assist by cutting pieces from magazines and gluing them onto parade and exhibit items to form a collage.
Bathrooms and water are not available at the park but can be accessed at Bethesda Library.
This event is outdoors and will be rescheduled in the event of rain or wind.
Volunteers will receive 2 MCPS SSL hours.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
