The City of Gaithersburg has volunteer opportunities for high school students at Oktoberfest. Opportunities include Festival Set Up/Decorations, Festival Greeters, Inflatable Assistance, and Festival Clean-Up. Hours range from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, lunch and SSL Hours. All volunteers must complete an Indemnification Form PRIOR to volunteering at the event.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
