Help Rukundo International bring our annual Silent Auction to life!
Rukundo International is seeking volunteers to help with setup for our annual Bid for Brighter Futures Silent Auction on Sunday, September 27 at Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co. in Olney, Maryland.
Proceeds from the event will help us complete the final room of Rukundo Preparatory School in rural Uganda, an examination and multipurpose hall that will serve students, teachers, and the surrounding community.
SSL hours are available for eligible students. This is a great opportunity for students who need service hours, families who would like to volunteer together, or anyone who wants to lend a hand for a few hours.
SETUP VOLUNTEERS | Approximately 3:00–5:15 PM
Help us transform Lone Oak's outdoor pavilion into our auction venue! Volunteers will assist with:
- Unloading auction items, supplies, and décor from our truck and carrying them into the pavilion
- Setting up and decorating tables
- Arranging silent auction items and associated displays
- Setting up food and event tables
- Assembling/setting up our photo backdrop
- General event preparation and organization
Some lifting and carrying will be involved, so volunteers who are comfortable helping with heavier items are especially appreciated!
