Join us at Cedar Ridge (2410 Spencerville Rd) for coffee, hot chocolate and breakfast items outdoors at 10AM before departing in groups to serve our community. Projects will take place at nearby Greencastle Elementary School (weeding, planting bulbs, mulching, picking up trash), Kemp Mill Elementary School (weeding, mulching), and neighborhood parks (picking up trash), as well as on-site on the Cedar Ridge Farm (clearing plants for winter, fixing the fence), and indoors (making Thanksgiving cards for nursing home residents).
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
