Come and discover the beauty and intricacy of Islamic geometric patterns! Create your own designs using symmetry and learn how to apply gold leaf.
For grades 6 through 12
Attend at 3pm or at 5:30pm
Appropriate for beginners to advanced in drawing and painting.
Participate at your own skill level.
Artworks will go to Interfaith Works and Shepherd's Table shelters

- Class is FREE but registration is required (EventBrite)
- Parents must submit a signed permission form for student to participate, at least once per school year.
In our art and film classes, students have choices and their voices matter. They learn to find their voice and are empowered to initiate change in their communities through their work. Middle and high school students are welcome to register for our fall and spring classes.
GB Youth Media (Youth Media) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on teaching digital media and the fine arts to advance youth voices and local causes. Our mission is to create communities where young people build the confidence and media skills to express themselves and to promote community building, multi-cultural understanding, and the common good.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
